My name is Maya Stok.
A ballet dancer, ballet teacher,  med student, and self-taught artist.

Ballet is an integral part of my life.
My dance experience as a professional dancer and my imagination led me to create my paintings.
I never learned to paint, my paintings are the result of emotions and the desire to express myself through colors.

Fun fact: If you look at my Gallery, you'll observe colors that connect with each other.
Actually, the idea came due to two main reasons.
First, I felt that these colors can express the ideas in my imagination.
And the second and main reason is that these colors fit my mom's living room's design. 🌷
I started to paint with acrylic when I was 15, and the best gallery I could wish for was my own living room (which had very high standards to be accepted to).

Today I’m a medical student and continuing to dance through my paintings.
